New installations of mains pipe work require a number of things before the water authorities will allow connection onto the existing network.
There is generally an inspection stage where water authorities will inspect factors such as depth of lay and proper fittings use.
Once this inspection stage has been passed the Water Authorities will often require a pressure test of the pipeline to ensure that there are no leaks and that the pipe is structurally intact. Water Hygiene Solutions can provide fully data logged pressure testing and certification to the IGN standards.
Once the pressure test is complete (or if one is not required) the Water Authorities will require a certificate of chlorination and laboratory analysis of the pipeline from a UKAS accredited laboratory. Water Hygiene Solutions can provide full disinfection services to include all diameters and lengths of pipe work.
With a wide range of specialist equipment and highly trained staff we are able to work in areas without power and even in places with no existing water supply through the use of our own fleet of bowsers or through tankering of water by selected partners.
